Laser Therapy

Low level laser therapy (LLLT) is the application of red and near infrared light over injuries or wounds to improve soft tissue healing and relieve both acute and chronic pain.  LLLT uses cold (sub thermal) laser light energy to direct bio-simulative light energy to the body’s cells, which the cells then convert into chemical energy to promote

natural healing and pain relief.  The therapy is precise and accurate, and offers safe and effective treatment for a wide variety of conditions including back pain, Fibromyalgia, arthritis, migraines, tendonitis, and carpal tunnel.  LLLT relieves acute and chronic pain, increases the speed and quality of tissue repair, increases blood supply, stimulates nerve function, helps boost the immune system and reduces inflammation.  We have been using LLLT at COA for over three years and have seen dramatic results in our patients’ progress.
